So with these photos I hope you see what I saw. The clouds started to roll in and to be honest those are my favorite times to take pictures because I LOVE to photograph clouds they are amazing things and are always changing so I hope that you can enjoy these photos as much as I do.

Blue's Clues....

I got a great laugh today, Gabriel has come to love "Blue's Clues" the show... all I have to say is it's better than some other things he could like. He still likes Curious George but I think he has got bored with it since that's all we did for a month straight at Grandma's house... that and M*A*S*H for mommy which Gabe will tolerate...sometimes. Anyways we turned on Blue's Clues before bed as a reward for being good... and taking a bath... YES I bribe my child with what ever I can. If you have a problem with that come bath him yourself... (JUST KIDDING, but you are welcome to). Anyways it starts out with a song... and you know you've watched too many times when not only you can sing it, but when your 20 month old son jumps up and starts sing and doing the dance to the song....
NOT KIDDING hand actions WORDS everything.
Seth and I were laughing SO HARD! it was the cutest thing and I would have got pictures. (I know perfect picture opportunity and I missed it) but I didn't want to miss it myself. So through the entire movie Gabe would jump up and sing "blue's clues, blue's clues...think think think) in HOPES that if he did it then Joe the character in the movie that is the only human in the show.... (which Gabe likes better than Steve who started the show... Just a little trivia for you) will do it as well. It doesn't always work but Gabe has it timed just right sometimes because he can tell when it's singin' time. Anyways, I had to share my Joy today!

Little Gym Class

YEAH Gabe started his Gym Class today!
He had such a blast, while he didn't do most of the stuff that the other kids did, because they have done this a while longer, he did do a couple of things. He's in the "BEASTS" class. So there are plenty of kids his age and the teacher is Miss Alli and Gabriel LOVED LOVED LOVED her. He ran up to her and dragged her everywhere and got upset every time she went to help someone else! It's and hour class and they do everything from running and jumping to balance and rolls. Gabe wouldn't let me help him with the balance beam but he would let Miss Alli help so... I backed off and let my little boy have his independence... sniff sniff... He's growing up so fast I can't believe it. He had to do everything himself and loved seeing all the other kids doing things as well. I'm sure as the class goes on he should be better at doing more things. This class is supposed to help with motor skills.... chuckle chuckle... I asked if it helps take them away as well, Alli laughed and said that I better work on getting more energy. So I am sitting here... playing on the computer while Gabe watches George how's that for energy!? NO, we had a great time and he is going to love this class as LONG as mommy doesn't leave his side and stays within' eyesight we're good. I'm glad they have little activities like this for his size, it's nice to be able to get out and play with other kids and not be told "NO" and "don't touch that" all the time. So I think this class is going to be great for Gabe and me.

Goin' Potty

WAHOO!! He's doing it! Yep our little boy is growing up quick. He's going on the potty. I know most of you are like yikes Lyns can't believe you put that on here (I'm not showing you anything) BUT I had to share our great news! Now he isn't doing it all the time but he's doing it which is important. Gabe's favorite part is to flush it we had to set the rule he can't flush the toilet unless you go potty in it! So now we have to go and get potty treats and make this a regular occurrence. WOW I can't tell you how excited we are.

Zoo Slide show

There's a strike at the zoo.... It's true!

WE had so much fun at the zoo! We went with Kim and her kids which was great because Gabriel would spend every min. with them if he could. So the first place we went was to the monkeys because I knew Gabe would go nuts. He did of course, there was this monkey who came right up to the glass infront of Gabe, he LOVED IT. It was so cool to see him so excited he would have stayed there all day had I let him. He loved watching them move around and hang by there tails and to eat as well. But we had to go and see all the rest so we walked around and saw the elephants, bears, zebras, the ghost of the Bayou and OF COURSE THE TIGER! At the elephants cage they have this metal elephant that you can sit on and it usually blows out water but today it was blowing out air we got some pictures of the kids on that, Gabe sat there with Austin his cousin and best bud. Andrea and Shayla just loved Gabriel to death they would carry him around or hewould run up and grab their hand as they were walking he just loved to be around them. As we were walking to the tiger's cage we passed the Giraffes the baby was there so we got pictures of that as well. We rode the carasel and the train while we were there and I got aton of pictures of Gabe kissing the medal tiger, which tickled me because of the tiger history in our family. I bought a tiger crossing sign to hang up in our house because it was funny to think about and Gabe picked it out. "ROAR" is the only sound he will do for animal upon request so he likes them A LOT. WOW what else did we do? There's so much we had hot dogs and pizza for lunch with the Zebra's and and Dippin Dots and popcorn for a snack Then we went passed the GoRiLlA's Cage and took a picture of hands on the "what size is your hand?" sign which looked cool because GABE ACTUALLY DID IT! I tried to get him to stand next to an actual gorilla size chart but he wouldn't go for it. We had a great experience in that area, we almost lost a shoe in the Chimp cage. Gabriel stood on the fence to get a better look and stuck his foot through... yep the shoe was held on by a toe..A TOE!! Gosh there is so much and yet not, you know how your mind forgets what you were going to say...yep that is where I am at, at this point. Well all the same it was an outright blast at the zoo I would do it again in a heart beat... except when it's cooler but we wenton a great day it was over cast the whole time so we got lucky. Gabe didn't get a nap so he crashed hardcore when we got home and slept through the night with out making a peep which was nice he's been doing really good about getting back to his schedual but he was OUT.

Potty week

WOW This weekend was beyond CRAZY! We had the Clark family reunion of Seth's side and a wedding on Saturday. Through it all our little guy was able to put a bunch of smiles on our faces! YEP Gabe went potty in the toilet!! (jumping out of my skin with excitment) and actually held still while I put the new diaper on and if you know my kid that is quite an accomplishment. The pictures are later in the day when I had put some pants on him, since he hasn't completely made up the wait he lost when he was really sick this winter, not that he had a lot to begin with. his waist is about a nine months size and his legs... an 18-24month size, so now you see my dilhema well needless to say the pants fell off and Gabe is very modest sometimes so he wouldn't pull them off so he walked around for a good 30-40min with his pants around his ankels so being the horrible parents we are we grabbed the camera and took pictures.

Tut...tut...looks like rain!

WOW it's hard to believe we got a drop of rain up here. Gabe got so ecited when he heard it we had to go out, so I grabbed the umbrella... there's always a photo opportunity around (so yes this would be #100,001) but I couldn't resist so here is what we did with the little bit of rain, no enough to water anything but enough to play in. I was planning on a photo shoot with this very idea, so... here's my practice, we'll take the grand finally in the fall when the leaves are down enough to add the umph that we need but this is pretty good for an unplanned cloud burst.

Man they grow fast!

George Did it!

The picture says it all... we've just got into the blaming stage, where is it is no longer Gabriel's fault. It's either daddy's fault that the diaper came off and Gabe peed all over the bed, OR as you can see this time it was George's fault. Silly George somehow opened the bathroom door, went in and proceeded to pull off all of the TP... and somehow managed NOT to get out of the bathroom before mommy came in. Gabe did though, and when asked "are you in trouble?" and "who did this?" "no" and "george" is all that was responded. So when this happens at your house, George did it!

Bowler Family Reunion

AHHH CAMPING! Another thing I have discovered that is not fun to do with a CURIOUS toddler. Naw we had a lot of fun. It was great to be able to spend time with family. Gabriel of course gobbled up Granny and Papa with what ever moment he could get. Sabrina sure loved him to she'd take him with her everywhere, it's crazy I used to take her everywhere with me when she was a baby now she's taking my baby, wow I'm getting old. So he was cuddled and loved all week and I'm sure glad to have gotten a break just to be lazy.
Gabriel and Austin spent a lot of time playing in the water and with diffrent activities, they are definatly best buds in every meaning of the word. They fight, the cry and love eachother all at the same time these pictures were taken at the love time.
Ya so the first night didn't go so well so we turned into party poopers and went home to Gunlock and slept there, it was nice to get a shower each day and to sleep in a soft bed now that's my kind of camping. There were so many things that happend that I can't even begin to explain on here but some of the funnest times were when Gabe got a squirt gun and well you can only guess. But there are pictures in a slide show a couple of posts down, I haven't figured this whole thing out so they are a little out of order. All in all it was a great trip and we had a lot of fun playing and spending time with family everyone of my siblings were there except Sara and most of the Bowlers came.... on the last day. It was nice to get to visit, we had a ROOK tournament which Don and Jarad won. and the got a trophy that Troy had made the cost 80$ so the are the champs of the family this year, but next I will take it. Kim and I came in 3rd so we were close!
Well as you can tell from the pictures it was great and CAN'T WAIT TIL NEXT YEAR!
