My Boys

It's so crazy to think I have 2 kids! Gabe has been so amazing with Vincent, he acts as if he's been here all along. Seth has been such a relief to have home and I seriously wonder how I will do it without him! I am truly blessed though.... Vincent is very quiet most of the time and Gabe has adjusted very well to having mommy constantly doing something.
Gabe was so excited to see my tummy.... he looked at it and said "no Vincent?" I said "yep Vincent isn't in mommy's tummy anymore." "oh" he said and then proceeded to jump as high and as hard as he could on my tummy!
When we first brought Vince home, we had hand sanitizer in our main room so that we can keep as many germs as we can away from Vince.... I hate sick babies, Anyway Gabe would run over put some on his hands and run over to Vince and say "touch Vince mommy" and we would touch his head with one finger and then run over and get more sanitizer and do the same thing over again..... he and Vince were covered by the time he was done but hey at least his hands were clean!
We also went to our follow up visit with our pediatrician yesterday. Vincent did GREAT, when we left the hospital his weight was 6lbs 7 oz and yesterday almost a week from his birth he weighed 7lbs 4 oz. Needless to say my boy puts it on and I am so proud.... He definitely is a great eater, in fact he would eat all the time if I would let him. It's kind of weird having a kid who likes to eat and is very quiet.... I still wonder how he happen to come to my family.... but however that worked out I am SO glad he is here and how perfect he really fits into our family!

Our day at the Jon Schmidt Concert

Seth and I have this tradition where we celebrate EVERYTHING! This was one of our more special days since it was the day Seth proposed to me... So a little back story so you understand, Our first date was to a Jon Schmidt concert at UVSC now UVU but at the time it was still a state college. Seth finally proposed on Sept. 8th and so this year Jon Schmidt put out a new song that I fell in love with, I had it posted on here a while back but anyway he was debuting this new song and his new album on the 5th SO for our celebration we went to his concert at Thanksgiving Point, IT WAS AMAZING! By the time it was over I was so swollen and sore but it was worth it, he is an amazing artist, I of course waited to get him to sign my copy of his CD... and listen to the CD all the time.
But I am so glad that we were able to have a little time together before the baby get's here and to reminisce a little of the olden' days!
