Yeah! It's my birthday!

Well it was... Seth decided to shave the day of so that when we took pictures he would look nice, and Gabe wanted to as well. They were both so cute! I got to sleep in for the most part but we dropped Gabe off at Seth's parents and took the day off, we went to the temple to do an endowment session, something I have done since May 05 or was it April, hmmm whenever we did my family's sealing stuff! Because I was having so much problems when I was pregnant I couldn't do the whole up and down for a long time so I would just do sealings. Needless to say I was way excited to finally go back and we need to have sometime just us. Afterwards Seth and I went to Tucanos

YUM I love that place! I told Seth that if he said anything about it being my birthday and they came and sang to me that I would kill him.... So he didn't but Ironically the woman next to us had her birthday and they came and sang to her, so it was close enough to keep me on my toes, Seth knows me enough to know I can't stand to be sung to by strangers and to have everyone look at me while they sing... (SCARY) Afterwards we went up to Squaw Peak (the make out place of BYU) and took pictures because it's way high up there is an over look and since the fires around here it has been smoggy but I didn't think of that but we got some way fun pics. I GOT TO TAKE A NAP!

Yes a real nap no interruptions JUST what I wanted for my birthday, so 4 hours later I woke up and we ran up to drop off a bottle for Gabe because I had forgot to pack it and then went to the D.I. one of my favorite places to shop! YEP got some good stuff! Then went home and watched Season 1 of HOUSE M.D. until 1am then went to bed! AND HERE IT COMES I got to get up at my own leisure, why? because Gabe slept over at Seth's parents house!!! OK OK in all honesty I cried, I am sure it was harder for me than it was for Gabe, but it was a good thing, however last night I slept in his room and he slept on top of me, we had some scare issues because he thought I was leaving him, and I couldn't leave him (Ironically) but we both survived and it was good for the 3 of us, Seth and I got time together and Gabe and I got time apart, and yes SETH missed Gabe to, not sure if he would admit it but I think he had a hard time not having Gabe around either! ALL in ALL it was a GREAT birthday and I would do it again..... not anytime soon, but sometime, maybe in like 16 years.

No 4-wheelin' here...

A picture is worth a Thousand words.... This is one of them! I have figured out though that McQueen can NOT 4-wheel.

After Gabe had washed his bike, he went out back while I was weeding and cleaning up I had the water goin in our garden, that hasn't done much since it was to late in the season, and the people that lived here before.... let's say didn't keep up on the carepart of the garden (and other places) WEEDS TALLER THAN GABE! anyways so Gabe was playing in the dirt as he usually does and poof his shoes disappeared I didn't notice until later that he wasn't wearing any and when I asked him where they were he raised his hands up to his shoulders and said "dunno" so we looked around because the cement is hot in 100* weather so I looked everywhere.... lucky I looked closely, I might have missed them! So I called Gabe over and pointed out his shoes and he smiled and said "look car" I ran and got the camera, I swear I should have it attached at the rate I take photos. SO here are Gabe's cars... STUCK!

Chattin' it up, plus a giggle bonus!

Seth's dad called one morning and Gabe wanted to talk to him.... boy was Grandpa in for it.... like 45 min. later we had to fight the phone away from this kid.... He was sooo funny though he was just a gabbin' away, and Seth's dad just listened and added an "uh-huh" and "really?" sometime throughout the conversation! But Gabe was Hamming it up and for my kid that is just NOT NORMAL! he was defiantly on a HIGH NOTE!

Afterwards Gabe got some DADDY TIME!! Which because daddy is busy a lot he doesn't get this kinda time. Like they spend time together they just don't wrestle like this mostly because Gabe gets bored way quick but today he was just full of it! Gabe was laughing so hard which made us laugh because it was so fun to spend that kinda time, you know those moments you will never forget... This is one of them!

My Kid is BUFF!!

I just had to show everyone how awesome my kids is!! WOW do you see this?! My kid can do pull ups and not just one he does this all DAY! YA my kid is a buff little man! sorry I just had to brag because HOLY COW!

He started doing it a bit ago and we finally snapped some pics because it was amazing he just kept going and going with no intrest in stopping.

The Sequel: Crayon Vs. Laptop

Yep..... didn't learn my lesson! BUT Two days ago Seth FINALLY put up the DVD player so this WILL NOT happen again...

Gabe's Little Trike Wash... come on in!

I was out washing our NASTY blinds, something I didn't do before we moved in and so before we moved Gabe into his new room THAT IS ALL PAINTED!! I wanted to wash the blinds. SO while I was doing that Gabe decided that he was going to wash his Bike.... so I looked over and saw what he was doing and of course RAN for the camera! There were a ton of photos so I chose a few and made a collage. Hope you enjoy!

Going Private!

Time to go private! Already I'm getting a TON of hits....in places I don't know or in many haven't even heard of! SO to stop the chatter, and since this bolg has a lot of photos of my prized possessions I am going to change it around a bit! Ashley and Me

Gone quiltin'...insted of just a wishin'

YEAH!!!! I finish a quilt! Ashley and I took the weekend off and went down to Gunlock to sew, I gave Gabe to my parents (see below publish) and we sewed like mad! All in all I finished 3 and Ashley finished 2 it was so nice to just sew and not have to worry about anything and to just have a break from everyday life. We stayed up until 2 or even 3 and talked, sewed, quilted I mean WOW they turned out great. I did 2 for Gabe and one for me, in fall colors and Gabe got Bug Jars and a train quilt. Now all I need to do is quilt them which the small ones I can do myself and I am sending out Mine because it is huge and it's the best quilt I have ever done!

There's no place like home!

We got to spend the whole weekend with Granny and Papa! And since Gabriel was theonly grandbaby there this time, he got them ALL to himself, talk about spoiled! We got down there Friday morning and got straight to work on our quilts (Ashley and I) so Gabe went straight to Granny and didn't mind a bit, at first Gabe was afraid of everything, 4wheeler, swing, water, etc. by Sunday right before we left he warmed up great... Just my luck! We all had such a GREAT time, the cooking was to die for as usual and being able to just play all weekend was a needed pleasure. Today I think Gabe and I are both struggling being back home and not having granny or papa around to lighten the load! We got a ton of things done, I will put up my quilts later but I wanted to share some photos. Gabe went out with Granny to water and do yard work, so he helped.... when I saw him he had mud ALL OVER his face, butt, feet.... (2 INCHES DEEP) it was so cute so I snapped a bunch of photos, and later before we left sunday he got to eat a peach and it was SO CUTE he just sat there and ate the whole thing. We got so lucky to spend that time with my parents it was so nice. I had a OUTRIGHT BLAST to have my parents and best friend with me for the whole weekend! Kally an old friend from high school came out to see me, it was great we hadn't seen eachother for about 5 years and so she brought out her family and her husband it was so cool to rekindle that friendship and meet her kids and to have her meet my little boy! Anyways I will put up an entry of the quilts in a bit we got home at 3AM lastnight, or this morning depending how you look at it, so I am tired and lazy so I'll get those up later.

Toddler Bed!

Well, it's about that time! We went and bought Gabe a toddler bed. sniff...sniff He's growing up too quick! We got the bed set up and Gabriel jumped on it and thought it was pretty cool. We ordered pizza as a party treat to hype it up a little that he got a new bed. So we ate and mommy printed out blue's clues (paws) and put them around the house so we could play Blue's Clues to go to bed. GABRIEL LOVED IT!! He went nuts every time he saw a clue. And believe it or not, he didn't fight me to take a bath, put on a diaper OR drink his bottle! The most amazing thing anyone has ever come up with BLUE'S CLUES!!! I'm sure of it! Gabe got in his bed just fine, it was the leaving him that caused problems. Our first adventure, he cried but then simmered down so I didn't think anything of it: I could hear him so I knew he was playing and while YA that's bad, I figured that he would got to bed when he was tired, trying to let him have his space and independence....and then he locked the door. SO the next 20 min. or so was filled with complete PANIC!! trying to get the door unlocked and of course I scared him because I was freaking out asking him to unlock the door so I could come in and he tried he just couldn't get it. After we got the door unlocked Big sigh of relief We got him settled in again and told him goodnight. Now I was expecting it but, ya by midnight I couldn't handle it anymore and put him in his crib and he went right to sleep then I moved him back thinking well then he will wake up there and get more comfortable.... yep he woke up there right AT 3am. Gabe came in our room...and well I tried to put him in his bed or our bed for that matter neither would work so back to the crib.... SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM! Ya my son went to sleep at 5:23AM.... and to make life even better he woke up at 9:30am, at least he got some sleep, right?

Fork VS. Laptop

GUESS WHO WON!? I'm sure it's clear by the photo. That is after I put some of the keys back on and thought "HEY, I should take a picture of this to show Gabe when he's older and he calls and says 'my son just blew up my computer.'" I can just laugh and say sweetie I have a picture to send you.... AND YES you can see it too. I was letting Gabe watch Blue's Clues.... MY FIRST mistake, while eating his lunch.... YEP #2 and well I ran to turn on the cooler..... and to get some lunch for myself, thinking he knows NOT to touch the computer.... ya there's #3 under estimating my son. I KNOW Well needless to say.... when I got back.... YEP my son was taking his fork and scooping the keys off the laptop... I wasn't sure what to say or do about it besides put him in time out and not let him NEAR IT! BUT I showed him.... yep I made him tell Seth.... for some reason he didn't get as mad as I thought maybe it was the tears coming down Gabe's little cheeks.... All the same blue's clues will be put on DVD and SETH will FINALLY hook up my dvd player! YEAH!!!! But don't worry I fixed it, some of the keys are a little wobbly... BUT they are all back on, and it works.

Ashley's house!

It was such a rough week that Gabe and I took a vacation and went up to Ogden for the day! YEAH ASHLEY'S HOUSE!! It was so nice to sit down and visit and to just get a break. It's amazing what a little adult conversation does for you! So we played and talked and at pizza and Gabriel went nuts with the girls I could tell he missed them about as much as I missed Ashley, "ABOUT." Then we planned our Trip.... YES THIS WEEKEND WE ARE GOING ON A TRIP!! Ahhhhh HOT St. George here we come! Ashley and I are taking a sewing trip for a couple of days it is going to be so much fun. I'll put up pictures of the trip when we get back we are hoping to finish at least 1 but are being hopeful that we can get 3 in.... We ShAlL sEe. I can't tell you how nice and fun it was to spend time with my best friend and her CUTE little gals! I can't believe how much they change just in a little bit of time. Gabe loved being there as did I and it was a well worth it trip. Thanks Ash for letting us come up!
