The name of the game is HOCKEY!

There has been a bit of a controversy at our house. We ALL love Hockey and the fact that both of our teams have made it into the finals is a bit flustering BUT our teams are playing each other in the first round. Well of course there is ALWAYS coaxing at our house anyway BUT it has take off a ton more since the playoffs.

So on to the funny story: Gabriel loves to watch the show Curious George and tends to ask for it ALL the time. However in the past week or two Gabe has turned his attention to Hockey.... YES! My 2yr old watches hockey.... and it is so cute when he comes up and asks for it that I can't resist OF COURSE the only one I will let him watch is the one where Carolina kicks the crap out of New Jersey 4-0.... I figure what little coaxing I can do, right? All the same he doesn't watch the whole game, wouldn't that be nice, he will only watch 10-15min. but that gives me enough time to take a min for my self.

So Yesterday Seth came home from work, Gabe has turned into a Daddy's boy because I am sick a lot and in bed. But when Seth walked through the door Gabe ran up to him and asked to play hockey outside...I'm sure you can imagine Seth was VERY and I mean VERY proud. They played out there for over and hour and had such a blast doing it to, so I snapped as many photos as I could!

Looks like the Easter bunny.....

We had a BLAST for Easter... Gabe loved finding eggs, and since we had experimented a couple of days before the Easter Bunny ended putting out a TON of eggs...NOT KIDDING!.... Gabe loved the whole idea and since candy is a bad idea with this boy the bunny put a lot of other kinds of things in Gabe's eggs like plastic worms and trucks and fruit. We however did not plan ahead enough, since his basket couldn't hold that many eggs. Gabe figured it out though, why not use the BIG dump truck that the Easter bunny left only hours before. All the things in it ended up DuMpEd on the floor but all the eggs were collected successfully.

When the wind comes!

When the wind blows, we get very excited at our house! We bought Gabe a kite because we live so close to the canyon that we figured we would have plenty of wind. LOL and of course there isn't, but when it does come we all go running out to get that dang kite up! Gabe has finally understood the running part and actually anjoys the process of flying a kite! While at times Daddy does more than Gabe... he atleast can and will do it. The first picture is my favorite picture of Gabe, keep in mind that frontal shots are near impossible with Gabe because he is CONSTANTLY moving. I was so excited and it turned out DANG CUTE!! I also included the pictures of Gabe running and THE KITE!! Very important, because we only got it to stay up only twice!

How blessed we truly are

I have no doubt that some of you have already heard or see (on facebook) that I was put on bed rest. Since I had no interest putting the story on facebook because EVERYONE including people from high school could read it and while yes that may be very interesting I have no interest in people whom I am not that close to know these sort of details.
The baby and I are doing very well and this little set back has yet again shown our family how blessed we are. On Thursday I started not to feel so well and went to lay down, a little later we ran into some complications and the Dr. put me on immediate bed rest so that I wouldn't continue to bleed out. Luckily I had family and friends close by who swept in to take care of our little man while Seth took care of me.
This morning I was givin an ok to get out of a bed and put only on light duty which with a toddler lets be serious I didn't think would be the easiest, HOWEVER our little boy is amazing and has taken to this new complication very well and is gun-ho about helping mommy do things, even some that she'd rather not have help with. As well as be the man around the house when Daddy can't be here. I am so grateful to be blessed as I have, I am not sure what I would do without the many people who jumped in when we needed help. So thank you Family and friends for your prayers and best wishes. We are extremely grateful for all you have done for us.
So for the lighter note the baby and I are doing great and come MAY we will find out what our little mystery will turn out to be!
Again we LOVE you all... thanks again
