A day or two of Thanksgiving.... :)

On Facebook everyone is putting up the things they are grateful for each day. Yes I'm a little behind but I thought I would catch up and put it somewhere that really matters and is safer!

So these aren't in any particular order I am mostly going to put them on the special days that are available because November is a pretty special month in my life anyway!

So Day 1: (Nov.1)

I am so grateful for the Temple....

I am proud to believe in a life after this and I am so grateful that it includes the things that I love most. My Family! I am grateful for the opportunity to live so close to the temple even though sometimes I don't take advantage of that, I am truly blessed.

Day 2: (Nov. 2)

          My Parents!

I am Grateful for my Mom! It seems only fitting to put her here since it's her Birthday! I can't imagine my life without her and I can't imagine a better person for my kids to call Granny! My mom always goes above and beyond for me and for my family and I have never doubted her love! I am so glad I got so many years alone with her growing up, she is my closest friend and I love just being able to talk and visit with her! I am so blessed! LOVE YOU LOTS MOM!!

 

My Daddy! I found it only fitting to put this photo because it's got everything! I look up to my dad, he has always worked so hard for our family and made so many sacrifices. I am so grateful for the many lessons he has taught me and the many that I am still learning I can't imagine a better person to be my Dad. I am so blessed to have someone who loves me and quite often knows just what to say in my darkest times!  I'm even grateful for those many hikes that he took me on and then had to start dragging me on, and the countless Saturdays of picking weeds. I wish I would have valued those times more when they were happening! I'm so grateful for the constant example of hard work and love that he's shown me, I hope that he can always be proud of me. There are some many things that my dad and I both love and it warms my heart to be able to share those with him.

Daddy you are AMAZING and I LOVE YOU!

Day 3: (Nov. 3)

I am so grateful for my life.... 

I was blessed to have amazing people love me. My life couldn't be any better than what it has been I have so many wonderful people around me, and the hard work and sacrifices they have made on my behalf. I have always had hugs and kisses and most importantly LOVE!
     I chose this picture because it is one of my favorites and portrays my wonderful life perfectly.
As tears stream down my face I can't even express how wonderful and blessed my life truly is I am so grateful to be here, with the people I am here with and the ones who make it worth living for to return to!

Day 4: (Nov.4)

        My Heritage:

Could there be anyone better than this? I think not! I have the most Hard working loving people to call my Grandparents! I have learned so much from them and I hope to at some point in my life be able to be half the person they have been I admire so many things from each of them but I will only say one or two for each:
     My Grandma and Papa Jessup, wow I have learned unconditional love. You always gave me so much love and adoration and well you spoiled me rotten. Mostly however you have kept me good, I can't wait to hug you and kiss you again and tell you how much I love you. The more I learn about you the more I love you and the more respect I have, you are BOTH my HEROES!
     My Grandma and Grandpa Bowler, I have learned the importance of family and the gospel and hard work. I don't think there has been a day that you haven't given 110% except Sundays and I always have admired that. Your testimonies always encourage me to be better and to reach for something higher. You are such amazing examples of love and I am so grateful to have you love me and be proud of me and my accomplishments.


Day 5:

   I'm grateful for the place I grew up. I was able to be a kid and experience so many things that most never get to. I loved having so much family and friends around me and the opportunities that I had. At times I hated it but as I look back now, there was no better place to grow up!

Gratitiude.....

In class they had to decorate a turkey feather with the things they are grateful for. I love my kid and the things he thinks of. Some are out there and some just melt your heart but it makes me so proud of how amazing he is and the things that he's thankful for!
      And for my family :) look in the bottom right... yes that is what you think it is! :)

Vincent and I went out this morning and took some pictures! He did pretty good, don't you think.... OF COURSE YOU DO!

 It's hard to think my boy is turning 3..... wow he's growing up.

If you know this boy then you know he just has a special way of stealing your heart, I can't even explain how it is but he is such a sweet boy and has such an amazing spirit with him! I am so blessed to be this boy's mommy.

The past months.... since I'm behind

JULY

Family tradition to dress up all my parents grandkids in outfits for the parade in my home town! Aren't my kids CUTE!.... I know!

August

yep skipping ahead....

 Lexi had to get her blood taken.... because we couldn't get her fever to break. She hated it.... who wouldn't BUT she got a pretty necklace that matched her bandage. Needless to say they didn't find anything... and she is still cutting teeth. I am to the point of having the dentist just cut the gums so they will finally come out because these dumb eye teeth are being a pain to both of us!

 Vincent was attacked by a vicious monster..... The big brother monster jumped on him from a high tower (aka bunk bed) and attacked... But strong Vincent fought him off with only minimum damage... (aka black eye, fat lip, and scratched nose)  To be continued...

 Gabriel can swim!!! Well kinda.... he can put his head in the water with out panicking though.

He's getting there and is doing awesome in the water!

He's the most amazing guy, I sure lucked out!

 Seth's brother came to visit! We had a blast for the 3ish days they were here! I got to meet my new nephew and spoil him... hehehehehe Yes he knows who his favorite aunt is :)

Family outing!

this is my idea of camping with kids, go to the canyon have a camp fire eat, play a little and then go home! Score for me! My kids love it and I get to sleep in my own bed :)

 ...The continuing story....

after attacking Vincent the monster big brother was turned on and attacked by a monsterous.... BIKE!

Yes that's right a bike just turned around and bit him!

True Story!

Well ok this happened sometime later BUT the bike totally did attack him, it might have been a little scared when Gabe got it going so fast and ran off into some gravel. So technically then gravel bit him, then he bit himself, right through the lip. So he had a pretty big fat lip but a week later it looks pretty good and the swelling has gone down in his nose as well!

 That evening sitting waiting for the Dr. to check him out and tell us if he needed stitches! 

Lucky we got out of there without them! (they usually don't stitch inside the mouth)

So... That's all the fun we've had.... well that I can find....grrrrrr But there will be more pictures to come because everyday is an adventure at our house!

Off to Kindergarten......giggle giggle

Here he is..... MY BOY! Wow crazy to believe he starts Kindergarten this year. 

How time has past, I know I say this a lot and most parents do, the time went by so fast I can't even tell you where it went....

We had a blast... and a little frustration on mommy's part... getting these pictures. He's such a cheeser and has a hard time looking toward the camera but I am so excited for these pictures! He's such a handsome boy and I am so excited for him to start this new stage in his life I know he will excel at it. He is one brilliant boy and I am so proud of him and how amazing he is! Love you buddy!

I had such a blast setting this one up! at first I was worried that it wasn't going to come together and as usual it surprised me how great it turned out!

 lol I bought these shoes... just for this picture. Of course I will wear them but, I'm a bit of a pinterest buff and I saw this one and had to replicate..... and well when I saw it the txt just popped into my head so I had to add it!

This one is my FAVORITE of this set.... it's perfect... When photographing kids I always got great pictures that I had always hoped to replicate with my kids and usually they haven't turned out how my mind had imagined it. but this one..... it's better than I had visioned in my mind.
